CIBSE - CPD
Prihoda are CIBSE approved to offer CPD training. We have a single course approved at the moment, but more are planned (time willing). We aim to design our courses to be relevant to the Fabric Ducting industry as a whole. Clearly they demonstrate our products but all of the information they contain is relevant to any type of Fabric Ducting as they address design and application suitability issues that affect every Fabric Ducting System in the same way. The course is designed to be around an hour long with questions and can be delivered externally.
Fabric Ducting Design (Overview)
Our FABRIC DUCTING DESIGN (OVERVIEW) course has been created to provide engineers with a good understanding of Fabric Ducting and things to consider during selection. During the course we discuss common design principles, suitable applications, air patterns from different styles of diffuser, common pitfalls and other things to consider.
Fabric Ducting Diffusers and Air Distribution (Future)
This course will focus upon common methods of Diffusion through Fabric Ducting Systems from permeable material through to nozzles. We will look at how each diffuser type affects the air pattern and also the effects of temperature difference and pressure within Fabric Ducting systems. Finally we'll look at different applications and discuss suitable diffuser design solutions for each.
Fabric Ducting Pressure (Future)
This course will look at system pressure and how it affects the Fabric Ducting Systems. What happens to the duct at low pressures, how dynamic losses affect the system at high velocities or with poor system design, how to avoid rippling ducts and how pressure influences each part of the system from inlet to air delivery.
